What is changing?

On April 1st, 2025, Microsoft will introduce 5% price increase to the monthly billing plans for all new and renewing annual Microsoft subscriptions across BuyOnline, CSP, and MCA-E.

Customer may elect to change their billing plan, from monthly to annual, for their annual subscription at their next renewal date with Microsoft subscriptions through Ingram Micro.

Products in scope for the price increase effective April, 1st 2025 include all annual subscriptions with monthly billing across:

  • Microsoft 365
  • Office 365
  • Enterprise Mobility + Security
  • Windows 365
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Services
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Other Online Services

This is not an exhaustive list of products, and not all annual term products in these categories have a monthly billing option(s). Please refer to the Microsoft FAQ’s.

Additional changes coming on April 1, 2025:

  • Schedule billing frequency changes to occur at renewal for End of Sales (EOS) and EOS with Conversion offers (ie. M365/O365 Enterprise suites with Teams).
  • Mid-term billing frequency changes for triennial offers will no longer be allowed, billing frequency changes at renewal are still allowed.
  • Microsoft will also be updating the pricing for Microsoft Teams Phone Standard, Power BI Pro, and Power BI Premium Per User starting on April 1, 2025. This marks the first price increase for both standalone products since Microsoft launched Teams Phone in 2017 and Power BI in 2015 and reflects the collective value that has been added to Teams Phone and Power BI over the years.
