Help Your Customers Register Faster: Pre-Registration Made Easy!
Introducing Pre-Registration
Pre-Registration enables customers to quickly register any number of Fortinet products, devices, and contracts at once. This streamlined process supports the simultaneous registration of an unlimited number of Fortinet items and is ideal for most customers.
What is Pre-Registration
After the order is processed, all associated licenses, contracts, and hardware will appear in FortiCloud under the customer’s FortiCare account. At that point, the registration codes can be uploaded and registered in bulk by the customer.
Why should you care?
1. Customer Experience: This feature simplifies the registration process and results in a better customer experience.
2. Support: Customers that do not register their devices or service contracts will not have access to Customer Support or be able to get firmware updates. If they register at the time when support is needed it can delay their support, resulting in a frustrating experience for your customer.
3. Maximise Renewals: If a customer does not register their device(s) or services, the probability of purchasing a renewal contract is significantly reduced. Timely registration speeds up the time to recognising a renewal sale.
4. Minimise Registration issues: Customers often misplace their codes over time resulting in a further delay to the process. If these sales are processed with the Pre-Registration option, there is less chance of registration issues.
5. Data sharing: Proper registration is critical to data sharing efforts between FTNT and distributors.
